Start with what sounds good to you.
Test & Reset is a 30-minute physical and sensory experience built around sound you hear and vibration you feel.
Velvet Hammer lets you explore several approachable practices and notice which ones click for you.
Vulgar Display of Gratitude is for those moments when life gets loud and you want a practical way to interrupt the spiral.
The {technodelic} Experience is the deepest and most personalized Still Point experience, combining sound, vibration, light, energy work, and focused awareness.
You don't have to choose perfectly. Curiosity is enough.
No.
You might want to deeply relax, quiet your mind, get out of your usual headspace, explore something unfamiliar, reconnect with yourself, or simply spend some time feeling really good.
You can also come with something specific you'd like to explore. Either works.
No. You don't need to know how to meditate, breathe a certain way, clear your mind, or be good at any of this.
If an experience includes breathing, focused attention, movement, or another practice, you'll be guided through it.
It depends on the experience and on you.
With vibroacoustic sound, you hear the audio through headphones while low-frequency vibration moves through the vibroacoustic table or vibroacoustic meditation cushion. Some sensations can be pronounced; others can be surprisingly subtle.
You might notice warmth, heaviness, tingling, drifting, a quieter mind, a change in your sense of time, deep relaxation, or simply that you feel different than when you arrived.
There isn't one correct response.
Sometimes. Not much.
Some experiences include guided breathing, focused awareness, movement, reflection, or other simple practices. Others give you more room to lie back, listen, feel, and notice what happens.
Nothing depends on performing a technique perfectly.
Vibroacoustic sound makes sound physical.
Selected audio moves through headphones and a vibroacoustic table or vibroacoustic meditation cushion at the same time, so you hear the sound while low-frequency vibration is transmitted through the body.
Researchers have studied vibroacoustic stimulation in areas including relaxation and measures of nervous-system activity. You can explore the broader research behind the work on The Research page.
Some {technodelic} Experiences may include energy work using light touch or hands held just above the body.
Your preferences matter. Before the session, you'll have an opportunity to note any areas, sensations, or kinds of contact you'd prefer to avoid. If you don't want to be touched, say so.
Comfortable clothes you can easily relax in.
You remain fully clothed throughout the experience.
No. Test & Reset is a complete experience in its own right.
It's thirty minutes centered on the physical and sensory experience of vibroacoustic sound. You can use it as your first taste of Still Point, come back to it regularly, or choose it simply because thirty minutes of sound and vibration is exactly what you want.
You don't have to be working your way toward anything else.
No.
The experience has structure, but it isn't scripted. Sound, vibration, light, energy work, and focused awareness can be combined differently depending on the session and what you're interested in exploring.
A first {technodelic} session begins with Test & Reset, giving you a physical foundation before going deeper. Future sessions can build on what you noticed, what worked for you, and where your curiosity leads next.
Velvet Hammer is an exploration.
Rather than asking you to commit to one technique, the class introduces several approachable ways of shifting your state. You get to experience them, notice how each one lands, and discover what you might actually want to use again.
Try several doors. See which ones open.
Velvet Hammer is about exploring the tools.
You try several different practices and notice which ones help you settle, focus, or shift your state.
Vulgar Display of Gratitude is about using a process when life gets loud. It works with the moment when irritation, stress, or mental noise starts gathering momentum and gives you a practical way to interrupt it before the whole thing runs away with you.
They're different experiences built for different moments.
Not in the usual sense.
You won't be asked to skip over what you're actually feeling and manufacture a cheerful list of things you're grateful for.
The process starts with what's happening, works with escalation and perspective, and creates room for the state to shift. Gratitude, when it appears, comes later. It isn't the price of admission.
Test & Reset and the {technodelic} Experience are individual experiences. The pacing and structure can respond directly to you.
Velvet Hammer and Vulgar Display of Gratitude are shared group experiences. Everyone moves through the same overall structure while having their own experience within it.
Yes.
Velvet Hammer and Vulgar Display of Gratitude can be arranged for private groups. Still Point also creates experiences for workplaces, athletic programs, shops, studios, gatherings, and events through Teams & Events.

No.
Still Point is not psychotherapy or medical care and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. The experiences can exist alongside other forms of care, but they aren't a replacement for them.
Complete the health and safety questions on your intake and include anything you think may be relevant.
Depending on the concern and the experience you're coming in for, the session may be adjusted or you may be asked to check with your healthcare provider first.
Still Point does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Start with one.
Every Still Point experience is designed to stand on its own. You don't need a series of sessions for the first one to count.
If you enjoy it, get something useful from it, or become curious about what else is possible, you can come back and build from there.
That's okay. Experiences vary.
Sometimes the change is immediate and unmistakable. Sometimes it's quieter. You may notice something during the session, on the drive home, later that evening, or simply realize that you feel a little different than you did when you walked in.
There isn't a particular sensation you're supposed to produce.
Depending on the experience, yes.
Velvet Hammer introduces several practices you can explore on your own. Vulgar Display of Gratitude is built around a process you can use when things start escalating in everyday life.
Other experiences, including Test & Reset, don't need to teach you a technique to be worthwhile. Sometimes the experience itself is the point.
Three experiences, in their own words.
I have attended three sessions with Dustin, and after each one, I felt increasingly connected to myself, as well as calmer and more relaxed. He creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere before starting and takes the time to discuss the specific areas of concern you would like to address. His intuition in energy work is remarkable! Initiating the process of resetting my nervous system has proven to be transformative and I am looking forward to continuing this journey.
I had a great experience at Still Point. I reached a level of calm and relaxation that I honestly haven’t felt in a long time. The experience gave me a chance to completely disconnect, quiet my mind, and just be present for a while. I left feeling noticeably calmer, clearer, and more grounded than when I arrived. Dustin was thoughtful throughout the experience and made sure it was tailored to what I was looking to explore. Definitely a unique experience and something I’m glad I tried.
I took the Velvet Hammer class and loved it! I wasn’t totally sure what to expect going in, but it ended up being a really fantastic, relaxing experience.
Dustin has a calm, welcoming presence that made it easy to settle in quickly. He did a great job explaining what we were doing and why, which made it feel like something I could actually learn to do for myself at home. The breathing and guided portions were effective and easy to follow, and I left feeling noticeably more relaxed than when I walked in.
He also gave us a blue calcite stone to take home as a reminder of everything we learned, which was a nice touch.
Overall, excellent class! I’m excited to try more.
