Meet Dustin.

A long-running curiosity about how environment shapes experience.

"I realized I was constantly reacting to life instead of designing it."
Dustin Holzwarth, Founder

Dustin Holzwarth spent 11 years as a paramedic before moving into clinical simulation, where he helped create realistic environments for healthcare education and training.

That work sharpened his awareness of how much an environment can shape an experience. Sound, lighting, timing, physical space, and other details all influence what a person notices and how they respond.

That idea stuck.

Along the way, Dustin began exploring meditation, Reiki, sound, vibration, and other ways of shifting attention and experience. Over time, those interests began to overlap with what he already understood about environment and sensory design.

Still Point is where those threads came together.

Today, Still Point {technodelic} Studio builds experiences around that same principle: thoughtfully changing the environment can change what becomes possible within it.

Dustin creates the environment and guides the experience. What you notice, what works for you, and what you take from it remain your own.

The idea behind Still Point

The experience stays yours.

Still Point is built around a simple idea: create the conditions for something different to become possible, then pay attention to what happens.

That difference might be physical: your body settles further than you expected. It might be perceptual: sensations, imagery, or thoughts become more noticeable. Or it might be practical: you recognize a reaction sooner or find a tool you can actually use when life gets loud.

Or you might spend an hour feeling extraordinarily relaxed. That counts too.

The container

The environment is part of the experience.

Sound, vibration, light, energy work, and attention are used intentionally rather than as decoration.

Different experiences have different jobs.

Sometimes the point is physical sensation. Sometimes it is learning a practice, interrupting a familiar reaction, or going much deeper into an immersive state.

What happens is information.

Notice what changes, what works for you, and what you might want to return to.

Dustin’s role

Build the conditions.

Bring together the environment, technology, practices, timing, and practical observation that make the experience possible.

Pay attention.

Respond to the person who is actually in the room rather than forcing every session through the same script.

Leave the meaning with you.

Dustin can offer context when it is useful. He does not need to tell you what your internal experience means.

Designing for State

The thinking behind the work.

A deeper look at the thinking behind Still Point: sensory environment, attention, restraint, and what it means to create the conditions for an experience
without deciding what that experience should be.
